Pastor Scott Harvey
Hi, I am K. Scott Harvey and I graduated from United Lutheran Seminary with a Master of Divinity (MDiv). I am completing my call at a two-point parish in Sayre, Pennsylvania. The call was with a Lutheran and an Episcopal congregation. During this call, I started helping a Lutheran congregation in Horseheads, New York as their Transitional Pastor. I am married to Tim Corp and we have been together for 29 years. We have three cats named Daisy, Misty, and Buffy. I am originally from Johnson City, NY, which is next to Binghamton, NY. I have since lived in a variety of places! They include: Buffalo, NY; Orlando, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Atlanta, GA; Peterborough, Ontario; Kingston, NY; Gettysburg PA, and Sayre PA. My mother, sister, and nieces and nephews are living in the Binghamton area.
In addition to my MDiv, I have an Associates in Computer Science from Broome Community College; Associate of Applied Technology degree in Database Administration from Chattahoochee Technical College; Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University at Buffalo. I completed both the basic Emergency Medical Technician and Advanced Medical Technical courses at Erie Community College and Paramedic program in Buffalo, NY. I am no longer certified.
Before becoming an Ordained Minister, I was working for a bank, mostly within consumer lending, for about 20 years. During college, I worked for a paid ambulance company along with volunteering for the university ambulance and a local fire company. In addition to being a parish minister, I am volunteering as an on-call Chaplain at the Robert Packer Guthrie Hospital in Sayre. I enjoy traveling with Tim. We have been to Europe many times in various countries including Israel, Jordan, Palestine, Turkey, and Greece through the seminary. We also were on a cruise that visited Columbia and Panama. This has allowed me to enjoy photography. I find being in nature renews my spirit. I also enjoy science fiction and consider myself to be a nerd. Doctor Who is one of my favorite TV shows and I have seen all the Marvel movies! I am excited about joining the Tri-County Lutheran Parish. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone in the parish. Once I move into the area, I will be providing my contact information

She is a seminary student at United Lutheran Seminary in Pennsylvania and will be an intern at Tri-County Lutheran Parish until August 2025. Vicar Diana grew up in downtown Albany, NY and has spent most of her life in the Capital District. She recently retired as a public school Spanish teacher after a 30-year career.
Maryana Babriad
Maryana Babriad is the Parish Administrator of the Tri-County Lutheran Parish.
My name is Maryana Babirad. I came to the USA five months ago from Ukraine. In Ukraine we lived in Lviv city, where we spent almost our whole life. We are a family of five people: my husband, me, and three kids at the age of 13, 9, 3. We liked to travel a lot, and used to visit different countries. Now try to discover and visit some interesting places in the USA. Unfortunately the war in Ukraine lasted more than two years, the situation is not safe, so we decided to take our kids away from the bombing and keep them safe. Now we live in Valatie, NY. I have a masters degree in international economy and over 15 years of work experience.
Pastor Heidi Neumark
I previously served as a pastor in New York City for forty years- twenty years in the South Bronx and twenty years on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. I am a founder of Trinity Place Shelter for homeless LGBTQIA+ youth in NYC.
In addition to being a congregational pastor, I have taught in several seminaries. I love to write and am the author of three books. Gregorio and I moved to Kingston, NY in June of 2023 following my retirement. We live directly across the street from our daughter Ana, her wife Katie, and our two sweet granddaughters- Ruby 3 and Mia 6. They are our daily delight and joy. Our son Hans lives with his wife Abigail in Montana where she pastors a very rural ELCA congregation. They have a 3 year old son, Lazarus. Sadly, we don’t get to see him as often as the little girls, but thank God for Facetime!
Although I retired from full-time ministry, I have found that I still love serving among God’s people. When your bishop suggested I might consider coming to the Tri-County Lutheran Parish on a part-time basis, I felt the Spirit’s voice speaking. You may rightly wonder what a pastor who has served her entire ministry in a large, urban setting has to offer your more rural context. I can only say that there is one Lord, one faith and one baptism we share and I am excited to learn what God is up to in your midst and discern the future together. Now to God who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to God be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
