Emanuel Lutheran Church in Stuyvesant Falls, NY hosted a Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast!

Tuesday Night Dinner at St Luke’s

Jan 10th was the first Tuesday night free dinner. Dinner will be served every Tuesday evening at 5:30 - 6:30 through mid March. Doors open at 4:30 for fellowship.

Laundry Ministry

We began offering help with laundry expenses on Dec 6th in honor of St. Nicholas. We surprised those doing their laundry at EMKay in Valatie by offering to pay for their laundry that evening. People were really grateful for the help.

We continued to offer this laundry ministry on Jan 8th - trying a Sunday mid-day time as there were not many people using the laundromat the first time. We had more to surprise on a Sunday!

Holy Closure for Emanuel/St John’s, Hudson

On November 5th, 2022 Emanuel/St. John’s celebrated Holy Communion for the last time.

Hearts and Hands Thanksgiving Dinner

Hearts and Hands Mission cooked, assembled, and distributed 70 dinners for the Athens community. It is a labor of love in partnership with other congregations in the Athens area.

Vicar Care was ordained on Sept 18, 2022 at Salem Lutheran Church in Cantonsville, MD! We are honored to have a part in the education of Pastor Carolyn Lawrence. Congratulations!

Summer Lunch Program 2022, Valatie
